Welcome to The Bay Special Care Dental Nursing courses – training courses dedicated to nurses working with special care patients.
All training courses listed are designed with special care patients in mind. This is a complex area of dental nursing and can often be both challenging and rewarding. Our Level 4 Certificate in Dental Nursing for Patients with Special Needs course encourages the dental nurse to read, research and investigate the needs of this patient group and also surrounding factors such as supporting carers and removing barriers to dental care. This course meets all CQC requirements for training in autism, dementia awareness and related conditions and ensures learners fully appreciate other barriers to dental care which fall outside of the patient themselves.
