Welcome to The Bay Minor Oral Surgery courses – training courses dedicated to nurses who assist with minor oral surgery procedures.
All training courses listed are designed with minor oral surgery (MOS) nurses in mind. They allow nurses to support the clinicians before, during and after the patient’s treatment.

Award in Suture Removal
This course is available to all dental nurses who would like to assist in dental treatments by the removal of sutures following assessment by a dental surgeon. The knowledge and theory are provided online, and the learner is asked to nominate an in-house supervisor for the practical stages. The course runs over a maximum of 16 weeks, intra oral, extra oral or both suture types can be included.
