Course title: Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) Course for Dental Nurses
This course is aimed at dental nurses who hold a recognised certificate in dental radiography, and wish to become a radiation protection supervisor. Dental nurses must be trained and competent in dental radiography and regularly undertake associated activities.

Prerequisites: Candidates must hold GDC registration and a recognised Dental Radiography certificate. This course is for dental nurses only.

Course Content:
The course meets the requirements of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017, CGDent guidance as provided in the Guidance Notes for Dental Practitioners on the Safe Use of X Ray Equipment 2020 and also RPS training as stipulated by UKHSA. The training meets the requirements of the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 section 18.
